Dangerous Minds


My dog ate it

In this chapter the Miss Johnson have a student in her class that every day he was lying about homework, this student is Raul Chacon, he said that his dog ate his homework, but he doesn’t have a dog, all thing that happened with Raul was because he is so poor and needed money to pay a jacket and the Miss Johnson can see the problem with him and began to form a better relationship between both.

Okie Dokie, Artichokie

In this part of the story mentioned that there must be discipline in the classroom, because one day a student said to Miss Johnson “Okie dokie, artichokie”, and she felt that this words was a disrespect, for that reason the student was suspended and Hal told with her to should behave in front of the other students.

Fire in my heart

In this chapter Miss Johnson Try to have control in the classroom, but she can’t get used to her new students, Hal told with her with the intention of give some tips and he said that she have fire in her heart .

George Shouldn’t of Shot His Homeboy

In this case, Miss Johnson try to read a story with her class with the idea of make a good class, for a time all went well but when one student read the text said “George Shouldn’t of Shot His Homeboy”, all student were very confused with the text because they don’t understand the situation and the asked to the teacher about that but she doesn’t know how can to explain.

Mrs. West, you have a lovely daughter 

In this chapter one girl of the class of Miss Johnson called Callie West decided to disturb during the class and for that reason the teacher send a note to her parents, she said that Callie is a wonderful girl and not send them any reprimand but the Miss decided make a deal, if the student gets a good grade, she will no send more homework, the other students saw what happened with girl and for that reason the majority decides to have a good behavior.
